Collaboration is a frequently cited attribute of Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen’s work. This article investigates examples of collaboration undertaken by van Herpen in an effort to bring more precision to the broad use of the term. Three different longstanding collaborations are considered: Philip Beesley, Salvador Bred and 3D printing.
