The MsHeresies series (2018-ongoing) by Rietlanden Women’s Office (RWO) is based on research into collaborative graphic design practices from the archives of feminist collectives and the graphic designers who produced them. Part exhibition review and part dialogue with the designers, this writing considers RWO’s 2025 exhibition Banners for Heresies at the Museum Folkwang with particular interest in RWO’s recent foray into textile banners.
